Shawmark Concrete is a fast-paced commercial concrete company.

We are seeking candidates who have at least five years of experience estimating projects and can demonstrate a history of meeting their commitments on time. A successful Project Estimator is able to work independently and will be responsible for creating accurate estimates and tracking costs related to construction projects. The ideal candidate will have an eye for quality control as well as good communication skills, since it is essential for this company representative to clearly describe project requirements, specifications and costs.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to prioritize tasks.
• Research blueprints to determine building material needs and costs.
• Be able to perform simple calculations using steel, concrete, and labor.
• Be able to work with engineers and architects to learn about the details of a building project.
• Analyze blueprints for flaws or errors.
• Use a variety of computer programs to determine material costs, labor costs, and project finances.
